I currently serve as an Area Director for Toastmasters Area 71 of Seattle. February is when the speech contest season starts in Toastmasters. One of the clubs in my area was interested in learning more about contests and invited me to give a speech as a guest speaker.

It’s been many years since I had done a formal presentation. I felt creative and fun while preparing the small slide deck. Also realized that after all these years, my fear of presenting something to a group of unknown people has gone. I used to get nervous and sweaty hands, but not anymore.

I received good feedback about the slide deck and realized someone may come across my blog post years later and find it useful. So here we go,
